I'm recruiting a Finance Business Partner for a particularly fast-growing, global, City-based business who have grown both organically and by acquisition to boast revenues approaching £3bn. They are a true success story, are cash rich and they continue to make major acquisitions and expand into new markets.
The Finance Business Partner will sit in one of their key international business units (revenue c. £200m). The role reports to a Divisional Finance Director and supports the FP&A Manager. Duties include:
- Provide high quality, timely information, analysis and advice to support effective decision making and performance management.
- Understand the drivers of business performance; identify trends, areas of opportunity or remedial action - implement initiatives to address these.
- Produce finance packs with commentary & analysis; explain these to non-finance stakeholders where necessary.
- Act as a true Finance Business Partner to a range of key stakeholders; support them in their decision making.
- Lead business units in the setting of annual budgets and mid-year forecasts.
- Prepare financial models for M&A or other specific activity.
The ideal candidate for the position of Finance Business Partner will:
- Be a qualified accountant with current / prior experience in an FP&A or Business Partner role.
- Enjoy working with a non-finance stakeholders and helping them to drive their businesses.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, be keen to work at pace and have a desire to really make a role their own.
- Ideally have some prior experience in insurance, financial services or a high growth business.
- Seek rapid career progression and the chance to gain particularly early exposure to senior stakeholders.
Salary: £70000 - £75000 + 15% bonus + 10% pension + bens.
