Butler Rose is partnering with our large FTSE250 client to assist in recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join their growing team. This is a three month temporary contract and will pay up to £300 per day via Umbrella. This is a hybrid working role (three days in the office) and the office is based in Central London. Our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated professional to join their team and manage the financial performance of a key business area. You will ensure working capital, financial risks, revenues, and costs are effectively monitored, controlled, and managed. Your role will be pivotal in achieving all financial targets associated with business and operational activities in line with corporate and statutory requirements. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Manage overall financial performance for a business area, ensuring targets are met. * Deliver operational and commercial excellence to senior stakeholders (internal & external), driving value through revenue growth, margin enhancement, risk mitigation, and opportunity leverage. * Provide support within the Financial Services Sector finance team, working on Balance Sheet-related projects and accounts production exercises to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency. * Assist in the production of monthly internal/external reports and reconciliations. * Support invoicing, journal processing, and WIP application creation. * Lead monthly P&L, WIP, and Unbilled reviews with operations teams. * Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as required. Education, Experience, and skills required: * Needs to be a Qualified Accountant with active membership. * An innovative, commercially focused individual with a proactive mindset and the confidence to suggest new ideas for improving processes. * Solid analytical skills with the ability to understand and resolve complex issues. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, coupled with strong influencing capabilities. * A team player with a drive to deliver exceptional operational and commercial outcomes.
