This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to provide vital financial expertise during a period of strategic growth and innovation. You’ll be instrumental in supporting our life-changing programs, ensuring financial sustainability and delivering exceptional service aligned with our charitable objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, monitoring and reporting on actual versus forecast performance for assigned areas.
- Lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, identifying risks and opportunities to support informed decision-making.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with the management team, delivering insightful analysis and driving cost control and performance improvement initiatives.
- Enhance existing reporting processes to improve efficiency and deliver actionable insights.
- Assist with the year-end audit process to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Coordinate and prepare central financial reports, including forecasts, budgets, Board KPIs, and management accounts.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to support our programs, ensuring alignment with financial strategies and assumptions.
- Act as a key stakeholder for programs, offering financial and procurement advice to ensure best practices and cost-effective solutions.
- Review and advise on contracts to ensure the charity achieves the best value for money, assessing contractual terms for adequacy and compliance.
- Support program teams across the charity in independently monitoring and managing their budgets and forecasts.
Who Are We Looking For?
- A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience in finance business partnering, ideally with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels within the organisation.
