One of the UK's best-known and respected charities is in need of two interim Finance Business Partners to support them through a busy period and ahead of a restructure. These are both interesting and varied roles that will work across key areas of the organisation to produce budgets, forecasts and month-end accounts, while working closely with senior non-finance stakeholders to explain their numbers and influence their approaches to finance. They will pay competitive daily rates and be hybrid, with two days per week required in the London offices.
As the Finance Business Partner your role will involve:
- Working across a key area of the organisation (either care homes or corporate services)
- Business-partnering leadership across your assigned area, meeting with them to understand their area and influence their approach to finance
- Producing budgets and forecasts across your area
- Performing month-end duties including management accounts (including accruals and prepayments) with the required variance analysis and commentary
The ideal Finance Business Partners will:
- Be at least part-qualified, but ideally qualified or QBE accountants
- Have strong experience producing management accounts
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with those outside of finance and explain their numbers
- Be available at short notice
- Have a keen interest in charitable causes and supporting the most vulnerable in society
