Oliver James are currently recruiting for a permanent role with a global speciality insurance client in London. As Finance Business Partner , you would work closely with senior stakeholders across the business , build and maintain relationships with the business to achieve commercial and strategic goals.
To be considered for this role you will need to below capabilities:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience in the insurance market - preferably Lloyds
- Experience of business partnering within insurance organisation and a strong knowledge of accounting policies
If you have the above capabilities, some of the roles responsibilities include:
- Support the delivery of all budget and forecast cycles
- Work closely with the Finance Change team to ensure Finance is the forefront of business actions
- Ownership of the Premium Forecasting process for certain underwriting teams and be the Finance relationship manager for one/multiple Underwriting teams along with partnering other areas of the business
- Full ownership of underwriting team(s) P&Ls, being able to articulate movements across all technical and non-technical items for all planning, forecasting and actual cycles, ensuring underwriting team leaders understand the drivers of their results
