Finance Business Partner

Salary: £65,000-£75,000

Location: City of London

Our client is a high-growth startup seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team in London! This role offers an attractive salary range of £65,000-£75,000 and the opportunity to go on a fantastic journey with the business, and work with some of the best people within the MedTech market. As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial and group reporting activities, contributing to business decision-making, and managing relationships with stakeholders globally. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a strong technical accounting knowledge and corporate experience with an understanding of a start-up model.

What you'll do:

  • Support financial and group reporting activities.

  • Contribute to the quarterly period close process.

  • Collaborate on improving monthly financial reporting processes.

  • Assist with quarterly and annual audits.

  • Help prepare annual financial statements.

  • Gain a full understanding of recharges, fixed assets, warranty, leases, and inventory processes.

  • Collaborate with outsourced accounting providers to enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) and KPI monitoring.

  • Support timely achievement of business and financial targets.

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to senior business leaders.

  • Manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders globally.

What you bring:

  • Corporate experience with an understanding of a start-up model.

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.

  • Proficiency in Excel and basic financial modelling.

  • Knowledge of audits and tax regulations.

  • Experience in J-SOX controls would be advantageous.

  • Experience in a start-up environment would be beneficial.

  • Knowledge of Xero would be considered as an asset.
