Goodman Masson are currently supporting a highly respected and leading, global private equity firm in its search for a skilled Finance Business Partner to join its London-based team, supporting the European real estate portfolio. This role will involve acting as a vital liaison across multiple functional areas, working closely with senior leaders and global teams to enhance the value and performance of the firm's European fund portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quarterly forecasts and collaborate on deal-level projections with senior management, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Engage with asset managers, treasury, investor relations, and audit teams to ensure seamless communication and integration across all areas of the portfolio.
  • Support and drive the timely, accurate preparation of quarterly valuations and fund performance summaries.
  • Provide detailed portfolio analytics, working alongside the investor relations team to prepare and review key data for quarterly investor letters.
  • Coordinate the preparation of investor-specific reporting, including fund-level forecasts and performance summaries, addressing ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • Lead initiatives in process and technology transformation within liquidity management, debt reporting, and valuations.
  • Supervise and collaborate with the shared services team, overseeing valuation, fund performance, and forecasting activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • University degree with an ACA (or equivalent) or CFA qualification, with at least 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in Private Equity, Investment Management, or Financial Services is highly advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills with a robust understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Previous experience as a Finance Business Partner, FP&A, Analyst, or a role in Transaction Services, M&A, or Corporate Finance within an accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, particularly Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models. Able to interpret, assess, and effectively communicate changes in model assumptions.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within cross-functional, global teams.
  • Strong project management and multitasking capabilities, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
