Cedar is currently partnered with a PE-backed FMCG business to secure an Interim Finance Business Partner, based in Central London. This is a 6-month contract role, with the possibility to become permanent thereafter. The role is 100% office-based and is offering a base salary of 60,000.

The Role
As Interim Finance Business Partner, you will:
- Deliver quarterly and annual forecasts and budgets for regional sales.
- Provide strategic financial insights and reports to the Sales & Marketing division and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing division to monitor and analyse financial performance and support the achievement of sales targets.
- Conduct promotional analysis and create financial models for informed decision-making.
- Work closely with sales, finance, and IT teams to streamline processes.
- Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities, implementing cost-saving strategies.
Your Profile
You will ideally have:
- A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA).
- A minimum of one year of post-qualified experience within a Finance role.
- Strong Excel skills, with the desire to develop your financial modelling capability to support insightful analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal capability, with the ability to work collaboratively and influence other teams.
- Previous experience within FMCG / Retail.
- The salary of 60,000 represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
