This organisation is renowned for driving positive change and delivering invaluable services to the community, making this role both meaningful and professionally rewarding.The RoleAs an Interim Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with operational leaders and the finance team to deliver strategic financial insight and robust financial management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the organisation achieves its objectives while maintaining financial sustainability.Key responsibilities include:
  • Acting as a trusted financial adviser to non-finance stakeholders, providing clarity on financial performance and supporting strategic decisions
  • Preparing detailed budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
  • Leading financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with sector regulations and funder requirements
  • Supporting grant management, including reporting and financial compliance
  • Delivering financial insights to improve operational efficiency and cost control
  • Supporting the year-end process, including audit preparation and statutory reporting
The Successful Candidate
  • Professionally qualified accountant or finalist (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
  • Proven track record in business partnering within the not-for-profit or public sector
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly proficient in financial systems and Excel, with the ability to manage large datasets and deliver clear analysis
