Finance DirectorWest End / London£90-95k

The role: The role is wide in breadth, including producing the technical financial & monthly management accounts as well as producing cash forecasts. As well as this, the role will also encompass simple but high-volume transactional deliverables and managing the general ledger.

Duties:

  • Handling the Group Financial Accounts, Planning & Control
  • Running the General Ledger, Banking, Financial Statements, Company audit, VAT & Tax, External Reporting, Further Statutory Obligations, Month End Accounts, Overhead Allocations
  • Monitoring and constantly improving Financial Control Processes
    • Cash Forecasting, Management of Cash, Bonuses & Profit Shares, Annual Budgeting, P&L Forecasting, Balance Sheet Forecasts, Scenario Planning
  • Handling all of the Employee Owned Trust Financials
  • Overseeing the Group Financial Transactions - AR/AP
  • Running Group Payroll

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles/rules/regulations (UKGAAP, IAS, IFS & IFRS)
  • Excellent Financial Accounting knowledge
  • Finance System (eg SUN, NAV, SAP, ORACLE, SAGE)
  • Strong Excel
  • Strong Communication, Process and time management skills
  • Problem solving and the ability to interrogate data
  • Monitoring statutory and internal compliance, RICS and ISO standards and any statutory timelines and escalation requirements
  • Document processes and activities fully
