Our client, a leader in their field, and well positioned to continue to accelerate their growth, is exclusively partnered with Aila to recruit a Finance Director to join their team permanently. About the Company:

The Role:The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the company's financial operations and providing commercial insights to support strategic decision-making. Key areas of focus include managing budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis, and fostering strong cross-departmental partnerships to ensure financial performance aligns with business goals.Additionally, the role will develop and maintain a robust control environment, collaborating closely with the CFO and CEO to offer strategic insights and guidance.Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the timely delivery of monthly management reports and financial statements
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and lead the annual audit process
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy
  • Provide commercial insights and analysis to inform the development and execution of business strategies
  • Drive cost control initiatives and create strategies to improve profit margins
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue streams and reduce operational costs
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering continuous improvement in processes and performance
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting standards, and internal controls
  • Develop and manage financial systems, models, and policies to support the business's evolving needs
