The Role:The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the company's financial operations and providing commercial insights to support strategic decision-making. Key areas of focus include managing budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis, and fostering strong cross-departmental partnerships to ensure financial performance aligns with business goals.Additionally, the role will develop and maintain a robust control environment, collaborating closely with the CFO and CEO to offer strategic insights and guidance.Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the timely delivery of monthly management reports and financial statements
Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and lead the annual audit process
Lead the financial planning and analysis functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy
Provide commercial insights and analysis to inform the development and execution of business strategies
Drive cost control initiatives and create strategies to improve profit margins
Identify opportunities to increase revenue streams and reduce operational costs
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering continuous improvement in processes and performance
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting standards, and internal controls
Develop and manage financial systems, models, and policies to support the business's evolving needs

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Accountant and proven senior finance leader with a proactive mindset
Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect financial outcomes with business strategy
Advanced financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting skills
Ambitious and forward thinker who embraces and adapts well to change
Confident and assuring individual with the ability to lead a small finance team
Ideally prior experience with Dynamics 365
