We are thrilled to be partnering with a dynamic and growing PE backed service business in their search for a Group Finance Director, reporting to the CFO and managing the Group's finance function.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment where you'll lead a team both in the UK and internationally. The role balances day-to-day management of the finance function, with involvement in strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and presenting monthly board packs
  • Inter-company and consolidation accounting
  • Financial analysis & modelling
  • Evaluating new business cases for acquisition
  • Preparing cash flow models
  • Liaison with group company leadership
  • Reporting to external stakeholders
  • Day to day team management including ongoing training and development

This position is ideal for a hands-on individual who's ready to step in and support the team when needed. This is not simply an oversite role, you'll be happy to muck in when necessary to get the job done! You'll therefore bring experience from an SME environment, managing a team of approximately 10 people, with a strong focus on team training and development.

We're looking for someone personable, approachable, and confident - an excellent communicator and someone with a calm presence under pressure with a good sense of humour and a down to earth and flexible approach.

Essential Criteria:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
  • Strong proficiency with reporting tools, particularly reporting cubes
  • Proven experience managing a team of approx 10 within a group structure
  • Prior experience at Finance Director level or Group Financial Controller
