We are supporting a Not-for-Profit in London to recruit a Finance Director. This position is a 12 month fixed term contract paying up to £120,000 per annum. The role will require on-site presence at their London office 3 days per week.

This Not-for-Profit aims to inspire, support, and develop people to thrive and grow. They do this across the UK. The Finance Director will lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring best practice financial management across the business. Finance Director:

  • Management of the finance function for the organisation.
  • Oversee and complete the monthly accounts process, collaborating with internal stakeholders to inform resource allocations and decision making.
  • Manage the group's audit & tax reporting requirements
  • Partner with the Senior Leadership team and the Board to ensure financial plans are current and aligned with company goals.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate allocation of resources and forecasting.
  • Oversee the leverage and capacity model, providing real-time insights for decision-making.
  • Advise on key finance matters, including the investment portfolio, tax efficiency and operations.
  • Lead the reporting of working capital and cash flow forecasting to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Contribute to M&A projects, ensuring smooth integration and accurate financial reporting.

Finance Director:

  • It is critical you are CCAB, GGMA/CIMA or equivalent qualified.
  • You must have an understanding of grant funding.
  • A track record of leading a successful finance function.
  • Ability to deal with a complex financial environment.
  • A proven record of dealing with Board of Trustees and Executive Leadership.
  • A history of working with external stakeholders is important.
  • You must be self-motivated with the ability to make a positive strategic impact.
  • It is critical you have worked in a small to medium sized organisation.
  • On-site presence 3 days per week is essential, you must be available to work in London 60% of your week.

£110,000 - £120,000 per annum.

Hybrid working - 3 days a week on-site in London.

Flexible working.

40 hours per week.

12 month fixed term contract.
