BettingJobs are seeking to find an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller for a well establish UK-based iGaming affiliate business. In this role you would be joining a small yet growing team, reporting directly to the business owner / CEO - our client are offering a remote based working environment, for those based in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial controls, ensuring accurate accounting entries and balance sheet management.
- Prepare and review financial reconciliations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Manage financial consolidation across multiple entities and subsidiaries.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to public authorities in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Lead the preparation of quarterly financial reports and annual financial statements for stakeholders.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing key insights for financial planning.
- Review and analyse financial reports from subsidiaries, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls, identifying areas for improvement.
- Drive process optimisation, continuously updating workflows and documentation to enhance efficiency.
- Serve as a key liaison, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulatory bodies, and leadership teams.
- Provide financial insights and support ad hoc strategic projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in a financial controlling role - preference given to those with prior iGaming industry experience.
- A commercial mindset with a keen ability to optimise and automate financial processes.
- Strong accounting and finance expertise, with an understanding of industry-specific financial models.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Highly detail-oriented while maintaining a strategic, big-picture approach.
- Strong IT proficiency, especially in Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Structured and analytical mindset, with excellent communication skills to convey financial insights effectively.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
