Finance manager/ Personal Assistant to CEOInternational sports events start-upFully remote£40,000-50,000 + benefits

An exciting new opportunity has arisen, working for an international sports company of around 20 staff (and growing) that runs events on a global basis. Set up five years ago, they are at the next step of their growth and are the talk of their sector. Working closely with the CEO, your role will be predominantly Financial focussed but they would also require this individual to support the CEO in diary and meeting management. Duties will include:* Working with the 3rd party accountant to file VAT returns* Doing payroll * Using Xero and reconciliation of invoices/payments and bank accounts* Running payments on HSBCNet* Invoicing * Event by event and Quarterly budget vs. Actual spend reportingThe ideal candidate will have previous experience working for a business with at least a £5million turnover and will ideally have knowledge of working in a startup culture where no day is the same! The events take place globally so expenses can be complex. My client is extremely flexible in terms of working hours therefore it might suit a parent returner who still wants to do the school pick up / drop off. New ideas around the accounts process are welcome.
