THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a motivated and Finance Manager to cover a one year maternity leave, with a January start date. The business is a thriving property and construction consultancy, renowned for its independence and commercial acumen.

THE ROLE

A varied and autonomous role, you will be working closely with the Finance Director and MD. Able to work under your own initiative, the key aim of the Finance Manager is to ensure the Finance function runs smoothly and that senior management are provided with accurate operational and financial reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Leading a small finance team

-Maintenance of systems and processes to ensure efficient running of the Finance function and its integration with other IT systems

-Production of management information, financial and performance analysis

-Cash flow forecasting and budgeting

-Statutory and financial reporting

-Treasury & tax compliance

-Business partnering with non-finance colleagues

-Liaison with outsourced payroll company

-Ad hoc project work and systems development

YOU

-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a demonstrable background in a hand on Finance role

-Curious mindset and an ability to identify potential problems

-Good initiative
