MLC Partners are seeking experienced Accounts Receivable Managers within the higher education sector, for a 6month fixed term contract - with the strong potential of going permanent. Reporting directing into the assistant Director of Finance, this role will be repsonsible for the Accounts Recievable function. Whilst having a strong focus on transactional processing, you'll also be repsonsible for driving continuous improvements to systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the credit control process and ensure all tuition and debts owed are managed.
  • Ensuring the tuition fee transactions updates and monthly reconcilliation of key accounts are completed and financial controls and proceses are ahdered to.
  • Stakeholder engagement with other university departments and external debt collection agencies.
  • Hands on position, responsible for managing a junior AR officer.

Skills required:

  • Previous experience of working and supervising in an Accounts Receivable function.
  • Experience in a similar role/strong knowledge of tuition fees and debt recovery within the higher education sector.
  • Ability to explain financial policies and procedures to non-finance colleagues.
  • A knowledge of what 'good looks like', and an ability to enforce continuous improvements across the board.
  • Hybrid working in Central London.
