Finance Manager
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable finance professional to join our client's team.
This role of the Finance Manager will have a primary focus on payroll management and producing management accounts while supporting various finance-related responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and collaborating with operational teams to ensure seamless processes.
The Finance Manager will handle end-to-end payroll processes, including system entries and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate payroll submissions. They will produce accurate management accounts and profit and loss reports while conducting detailed financial analysis to support decision-making. The role also includes posting ledgers, supplier entries, maintaining up-to-date financial records, and ensuring timely and accurate bookkeeping practices.
Bank reconciliations will be a key responsibility, ensuring financial data aligns accurately with bank statements. The Finance Manager will manage supplier expenses, process payments, and maintain financial documentation. Additionally, they will provide support for fleet management tasks, such as MOTs and car repairs, and undertake analysis and general finance-related duties as required.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have proven payroll experience, preferably with a background in the facilities management or cleaning industries. Familiarity with working alongside operational teams where English may not be the first language is highly desirable.
A part-qualified CIMA or qualified by experience (QBE) professional is required, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate should be adaptable, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively, with an eagerness to grow into a financial controller role.
Package and Benefits:
The role offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum, along with study support, which includes coverage for exam costs and paid study leave.
