Finance Manager - Revenue required for a FTSE 250 Technology business based in London!

£80,000 - £90,000 + bonus and benefits, depending on experience

Are you ready to make a significant impact in a finance leadership role within a dynamic and growing organisation? We are looking for a Finance Revenue Lead to take ownership of revenue recognition and reporting across diverse revenue streams. This is an ideal position for someone who thrives on building strong cross-functional relationships, driving process improvements, and contributing valuable insights that fuel business growth.

We are seeking a bright and dynamic individual, who excels in revenue recognition and reporting, particularly with IFRS 15, and has a solid background in software or professional services. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong business partnering skills, an analytical mindset, and a drive for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years post-qualification experience, a track record of process innovation, and the ability to translate financial insights into actionable strategies that support business growth.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in revenue recognition and reporting with strong knowledge of IFRS 15
  • Strong expertise in financial systems and data analytics tools with an eye for leveraging technology to drive insights and efficiencies
  • Highly meticulous in reviewing complex contracts and ensuring compliance
  • Able to the see the "big picture" and connect financial performance with business strategy, identifying key areas that will impact revenue
  • Independent and proactive decision maker, inquisitive problem-solver, relationship builder and a forward thinking individual who drives positive change

  • Lead accurate revenue recognition in line with IFRS 15 across subscription, software, and services.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure financial reporting integrity and support external audits
  • Forge strong connections with project managers and commercial teams to ensure revenue alignment with project progress, delivery, and forecasts, providing insights that help the business achieve its objectives
  • Track revenue performance against forecasts, investigate trends, and deliver meaningful commentary for both management and external reporting
  • Lead initiatives to automate and streamline revenue accounting and reporting workflows, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and scalability within the finance function
