This rapidly expanding international brand is set to double in size over the next 18 months, making this an extraordinary opportunity to be at the forefront of its growth journey. As the Finance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role within the UK Finance team, working closely with the UK Finance Director.

This isn't just another finance role-it's a chance to shape the financial future of a brand that's scaling quickly. You'll lead technical accounting under both UK and US GAAP, providing crucial insights that will drive strategic growth initiatives, budgeting, and forecasting. Your contributions will directly influence key decisions that fuel the company's ambitious expansion plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the month-end close process and the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Lead the technical accounting efforts, ensuring compliance with UK and US GAAP.
  • Develop and refine financial models, manage cash flow forecasting, and oversee balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Handle VAT returns, statutory financial reporting, and HMRC tax filings.
  • Work closely with external auditors and assist in preparing for IPO readiness.
  • Drive finance process improvements, enhancing the internal control environment, and optimizing the NetSuite ERP system.
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks

What our client would like to see (Essential):

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years of experience to date
  • Big 4 Trained (Delloite / EY / KPMG /PwC)
  • Strong understanding of UK VAT rules for domestic and cross-border sales (D2C and B2B).
  • You bring a deep understanding of UK GAAP and US GAAP, with advanced Excel skills for financial modelling.
  • Experience in ERP Systems such as Netsuite, SAP, Coupa (or similar systems).

What We Would like to see (Non-essential):

  • Experience in Food and Beverage/ Logistics / Hospitality/hotels/ Gym groups would be advantageous
  • Experience driving commercial decisions and making strategic inputs
  • You're eager to contribute to a company on a significant growth trajectory and are comfortable working in our London office 4 days a week.
