Harmonic are delighted to partnering once again with an industry leading music management and promotion business, in the search for a Finance Manager to join their culture led organisation.

Having grown over the past 30 years since inception into one of the most respected and highly reputable businesses in the industry, our client has developed a fantastic core base of clients representing a diverse range of genres and styles. Retaining a tight knit team that fits in line with their proud history of a low turnover of colleagues, our client boasts a fantastic workplace culture which also extends to their artists, producers and composers.

Based in a fantastic office space in a bustling and energetic part of Central London, the team consist of a range of friendly, welcoming characters with a shared love and passion for music. With exciting plans ahead for the business, this is an exciting time to get hands on experience working with the business directors and their clients.

The Role:

Reporting into a Finance Director and supporting the wider SLT, this role is fast paced in nature and will suit candidates that enjoy turning their hand to different responsibilities quickly throughout the week. The role will also offer exposure to working with clients, so will require an outward facing personality with developed stakeholder management skills. The role will be highly autonomous in nature, while having a direct impact on the future growth of the business.

Duties:

  • Continuously improve accounting and finance operations to ensure best in class financial management and optimised cash flow
  • Prepare & update monthly & annual financial statements and operating budget with actuals against assumptions the budget, financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Business partner with head of departments to ensure budgeting and commercial reporting is in line with our financial reporting.
  • Own the financial reporting including the business model updating monthly and scenario planning where required.
  • Work with the FD and MD to produce quarterly board packs with clear financial analysis charting the growth of the business,
  • Review of management accounts from junior management accountant
