Finance Manager | SME Advertising Organisation | London
Harmonic are delighted to be retained by one of the UKs longest-standing advertising businesses on an exciting Finance Manager position.
Turning over £8-10mill, they are a leading industry body representing advertisers, agencies, and media owners, working to promote advertising in the UK. They advocate for the value of advertising to the economy and society, ensuring a trusted, accountable, and effective industry.
The Role:
Reporting into a brilliant Finance Director, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day financial management across 5 multi-currency entities whilst liaising with internal and external stakeholders. They're wanting this person to progress into an FC/HoF role with the business long-term and upskill the two junior finance team members that you will line manage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of financial reports - income statements, cash flow & balance sheets
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with operational needs
- Be a point of contact for external auditors, playing a key role in the annual external audits for all entities
- Review and approve payments in the bank and process the internal timesheets
- Management of the Billing Assistant and Finance Apprentice
- Quarterly VAT Returns
- Assisting the FD with budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc tasks
Essential Skills:
- 2+ years as a Finance Manager role or similar
- Marketing / Advertising / Media experience
- ACCA / CIMA / ACA - ideally finalist or qual
- Management / mentorship experience
- A positive & motivated mindset
Bonus Skills:
- Xero accounting software experience
- Budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting experience
Location: London / Hybrid (3 days WFH)
Salary: £48-55K
Start Date: ASAP - will consider 2-3 month notice periods
