Are you a Finance Manager with previous experience in a sole charge role seeking a six-month contract based in Shoreditch
Our client a media company based in Shoreditch is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager on a six-month fixed term contract. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day finance function reporting to the directors and working closely with the external accountants to meet the year end statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management reports and weekly cashflow forecasts. Liaising with external accountants on a frequent basis for quarterly management reporting.
- Working in a sole charge role covering all aspects of Bookkeeping and Accounts Payable.
- Overseeing debt collection and accounts receivable.
- Processing purchase and sales invoices and overseeing debt collection and accounts receivable
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Reconciliation of expenses, petty cash, bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Quarterly VAT returns for eight companies within the group – HMRC Submissions
- Intercompany reconciliations, billings, invoicing and balances
- Complete month end reconciliations.
- Working closely with the external accountants to ensure that the company meets all statutory and regulatory requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
- CIMA/ACA/ACCA/AAT or qualified by experience
- Competitive market salary based on experience.
- Ideally have previous experience using Xero
