Finance Manager
- Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices for the company
- Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to relevant functional heads
- Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systems - while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors.
- Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.
- Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.
- Leading the team responsible, VAT and HMRC processes/ compliances.
Finance Manager
- Strong commercial experience of working within a company with intranational business activities.
- Technical accounting knowledge and Experience working in a trading company.
- Experience with SAP B1 and excellent Excel and modelling skills or experience using another ERP application
- Creating statutory accounts
- Ability to delegate and manage the work of others
- Experience of AP and AR
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience running annual audits and focal points for all internal control system relating to account/finance processes.
- Experience with annual budgets, forecasting and cashflows modelling
- Attention to detail and in-depth understanding of international and domestic laws and regulations
- Track record of managing a team and getting the best of the employees within the team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with people at all levels within and outside the business.
