Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the daily operations within the finance department.
  • Oversee accounting activities including revenue, expenses, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and booking income.
  • Manage and supervise various accounting processes such as bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and the production of client statements.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of monthly management accounts.
  • Prepare prepayments, accruals, and other adjustments for month-end close.
  • Track one-off projects separately to ensure individual reporting capabilities.
  • Produce and deliver relevant financial reports to internal and external stakeholders on time. Prepare weekly cash flow reports and present them to the senior leadership team.
  • Develop long-term financial forecasts to support anticipated business growth.
  • Drive the year-end process and coordinate with external accountants to ensure timely filing of statutory accounts.
  • Implement and monitor financial controls and procedures across all areas.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns.
  • Manage and mentor junior finance team members, offering support as needed.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested by the senior leadership team.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Tech/Media consultancy experience is required
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
