A leisure and technology business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate to join its finance function.

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, managing cashflow to meet all obligations, reviewing management accounts and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Managing a team, main duties include:

  • Review month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including billing, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends, variances
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams /stakeholders in Procurement and HR
  • Support the finance team in ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and projects
  • Ensure that expenses are appropriate on charged and fess collected timeously to ensure seamless positive cash flow on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles, staying updated on changes, and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Review payroll reports and obtain sign off for payrolls

You will be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with experience in a similar role managing teams. Reporting, cash flow and payroll team management will be highly desirable.
