Michael Page Finance are delighted to be partnering a global B2B Marketing business based in West London.

The business turnover £25million and is a global provider of Marketing services partnering with companies to develop sales lead programs, new business conversion and identify new prospects. The portfolio of services include event recruitment, automated marketing, CRM development, market research and life cycle management. Their global customer base consists of leading Technology companies, including 8 of the largest in the world. With their ability to deliver across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific they have become the go-to partner for large-scale, global marketing initiatives and programs.

As a result the business has consistently grown over the last fifteen years and are highly profitable.

Reporting to the Global Controller, the Finance Manager will own the financials and accounting for two key regions.

Description

The Finance Manager is responsible for:

  • Ownership of financials for two regions: income statement, balance sheet and cashflow;
  • Preparation of key monthly reporting deliverables including variance analysis, account reconciliations and close process to uphold integrity of financial records;
  • Manage banking process and cashflow forecasting / management, including intercompany settlements;
  • Ensure all accounting functions operating effectively in regions;
  • Manage reconciliation of monthly revenue recognition on a project basis;
  • Ensure and maintain consistency of internal controls, risk management and policies
  • Supporting Senior Leadership and Operational teams by providing financial information to drive profitability;
  • Maintain, interpret and delivery timely and accurate financial data;
  • Lead the Annual budgeting process in region and future tracking of revenue and costs;
  • Preparation and presentation of the monthly reforecasting process to senior management;
  • Manage the annual local audit processes and preparation of financial statements with external providers;
  • Ensure compliance with governance and filing requirements in region;
  • Submission of all relevant Tax documents and timely payments;
  • Input into other global processes as required such as tax, ISO, supplier surveys.
  • Form a working relationship with the regional and entity executives and leadership teams;
  • Co-ordination of workload and tasks amongst team members working within region;
  • Assist with development of team members and ensure appropriate resourcing;
  • Develop, document and implement process procedures as identified;
  • Ad hoc analysis and projects as required.

Profile

The successful Finance Manager will be:

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with post qualification experience in accounting and financial management
  • Proficient with use of accounting software
  • International, multi-region experience
  • Business acumen and commercial finance skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to analyse and present data to senior management
  • Management experience - strong aptitude for managing up and down
  • Inquisitive, independent leader
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • International financial consolidation
  • Experience of software migration

Job Offer

The Finance Manager position comes with a competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 depending on experience. They also offer excellent hybrid working with the opportunity to work remotely for someone based in the UK.
