As Finance Manager, you'll be the first hire into the finance function, and play a pivotal role in driving the business forward as it continues to expand. Overseeing the preparation of management accounts for multiple UK entities, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, this position offers a dynamic mix of hands-on financial management, business partnering, and strategic leadership.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

  • Oversee management accounts for multiple UK entities.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial records and transactions.
  • Lead the implementation of financial compliance processes and best practices.
  • Manage key month-end tasks: accruals, prepayments, journals.
  • Prepare financial reports: P&L statements, balance sheets, KPIs.
  • Oversee cash flow, forecasting, and weekly payment runs.
  • Lead financial projects, including system implementations and client secondments.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to support business growth.
  • Mentor and develop junior finance team members.
  • Assist with budgeting and regular forecasting.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in financial/management accounting, beyond audit.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and strong IT skills.
  • Experience with inventory management, AP/AR, and posting journals.
  • A proactive approach to leading and improving finance processes.

Please note: this role is based 4/5 days per week in North West London.
