3 Years PQE Finance Manager Central London | £75,000 PA

We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our clients team and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business. In this role, you will be pivotal in upholding the highest standards of financial management and reporting. You will collaborate closely with their asset management and development teams, providing support across all financial aspects.

This position is ideal for a commercially-minded accountant with a minimum of 3+ years of post-qualification experience (ACA/ACCA), particularly those with a background in financial reporting within the property sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management | Statutory Reporting:

    • Prepare day-to-day management accounts and reports, ensuring they meet the highest standards and are delivered on time.
    • Lead the year-end reporting process, including the preparation of accurate and complete audit files, liaising with auditors, and finalising annual financial statements under FRS 102.
    • Manage group consolidations.
  • Tax | Compliance:

    • Prepare quarterly tax provisions.
    • Complete VAT returns and ensure timely filing.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Project Development:

    • Oversee and manage development budgets, delivering regular financial forecasts and analyses to ensure budget compliance and efficient cash flow management.
    • Reconcile drawdowns with actual expenditures.
  • Cash Flow Management:

    • Assist in the preparation of monthly cash flow analyses to ensure sufficient funds are available for project development and operational requirements.
  • Loan Compliance:

    • Prepare external loan compliance statements, ensuring adherence to loan covenants.
  • Service Charge Analysis:

    • Manage the annual budget review process and ensure the system updates are completed.
    • Prepare and complete quarterly / year-end service charge reconciliations, along with the preparation of associated audit papers for RICS audits.
Qualifications:
  • A qualified accountant with 3+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including Yardi.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in real estate is desirable but not essential.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel.
Finance Manager Location:

Central London | 4 days in the office, 1 remote, Monday to Friday
