Are you a Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years post qualified experience? Do you have experience of end to end finance operations, reporting and compliance?
If so, we are seeking a Qualified Finance Manager to join our clients growing team - joining a rapidly expanding arm of a global business.
This role will run a small but rapidly growing division of the businesses, taking charge for all monthly management accounts and management information, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflows.
It will have 2 direct reports and will report into the Financial Controller for group finance.
The role will be in the office 3 days per week.
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing and mentoring a team of two direct reports, and assisting with growth and recruitment as the team expands.
- Responsibility for all finance operations of the relevant entities, overseeing timely production and review of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flows.
- Manage the audit process for the entity.
- Review and provide commentary and analysis of the balance sheet.
- Meeting statutory reporting deadlines and tax filings.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the team and business.
- Ad hoc responsibilities where required, including contributing to finance projects and assisting the Financial controller with any requirements in the group finance team.
Role Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) with 3+ years relevant PQE.
- Strong experience of preparing all management accounts and reporting
- Excellent technical experience, and ability to present technical and complex information to both finance and non finance stakeholders
- Experience of managing a small team and overseeing the work of more junior finance team members
- Excellent communicator, able to build relationships and mentor a small team
