This growing vibrant organisation are looking for a Finance Manager to join their expanding team. You will be joining an innovative business that has very exciting growth plans where they aim to become a market leading organisation. This role will suit someone that is fully qualified individual with experience of working at a similar level / position. This is a hugely exciting position that will enable you not just to facilitate a position but make an impactful difference to process and system improvement side too. Due to the urgency of this position, you will be available immediately.

Finance Manager - About The Role

In this role you be reporting into the Finance Director, but you will be overseeing the daily running of the finance function. You will take responsibility for the month-end closing process including the full set of management accounts with commentary, this position has become available due to the growth within this vibrant organisation. This position will allow the Finance Director to take more of a strategic approach to the business, allowing the day to date finance management to be delegated to this successfully appointed person.

Whilst responsible for one other member in the team, working as a Finance Manager you will oversee their work, but be a supportive mentor enabling their development too. This organisation has robust plans to grow and as such it is anticipated that the team will also increase over time too.

  • Oversee the accounting operations including billing/ AR / AP, GL, revenue recognition and payroll
  • Produce monthly management accounts, consolidated and departmental level
  • Ownership of the P & L, balance sheet and cashflow statement
  • Preparation of annual statutory financial statements - including management of the annual audit process
  • Submit VATt returns
  • Assist with group corporate tax fillings
  • Review budget against performance
  • Produce financial modelling on scenario-based planning

Finance Manager will have

Qualified within ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent (minimum of 3 years post qualified experience)

People management experience

Working within a Finance Manager with responsibility for the full cycle of finance and reporting

Working knowledge of NetSuite would be beneficial

Strong Excel skills
