Finance Manager (ACA) – 9 month contract – London/Hybrid – Up to £90k
A leading travel business are looking for a highly skilled data driven Finance Manager for a 9 month contract.
As the leader of a team of four, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of reported revenue and associated cost of sales at month-end, as well as managing the reporting and forecasting of working capital.
Role
- Manage revenue and gross profit accounting and reporting, ensuring the development and maintenance of robust processes and controls as the business grows.
- Oversee the balance sheet for revenue and cost of sales-related general ledgers, including the reporting and forecasting of working capital movements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4, fostering motivation and high performance aligned with core values.
- Act as the Finance representative on commercial project teams
- Coordinate the month-end close process, ensuring timely closure in Netsuite and accurate financial reporting.
- Support business partnering across the Group delivering clear and relevant month-end commentary.
- Contribute to the Group’s management and financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with external auditors during the Group’s statutory audit.
- Handle ATOL license renewals, monthly reporting to the CAA, and management of ring-fenced Trust cash
Experience required
- Ideally ACA qualified from audit background
- Strong systems skills ideally NetSuite – able to extract and manipulate data
- Management experience
- Business partnering - designing accounting processes and testing them
- Travel industry experience would be a bonus e.g. ATOL
