About the Role:Found-U Recruitment is working with a leading investment firm in the City of London to find a Finance Manager. This is a full-time, hybrid role that offers a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of key financial processes, including the preparation of full management packs and management accounts. Role Overview:As a Finance Manager, you will take charge of all aspects of financial reporting and ensure the timely delivery of management packs and accounts. You will also assist with donor reporting and portfolio financial planning. Working closely with senior stakeholders, this position offers excellent exposure and room for career growth within a dynamic investment environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver complete management packs, ensuring financial data is accurate and insightful.
  • Produce full sets of management accounts, including monthly reporting, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
  • Assist with donor/LP reporting, financial planning, and portfolio management.
  • Manage the accounts payable ledger, handle monthly journal entries, and ensure all accruals and prepayments are recorded.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and other key balance sheet items.
  • Investigate and report on variances in operational expenditure.
  • Support the year-end audit and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth compliance.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and the development of financial strategies.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, including the launch of new investment vehicles and fundraising efforts.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in preparing full management accounts and management packs.
  • Strong background in financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (experience with Xero or other financial management tools is a plus).
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience working within the investment or asset management sector is highly desirable.
