As they continue to grow, they are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager to join the London-based team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of our dynamic business.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and analytical Finance Manager to take ownership of financial operations, drive performance, and support business growth. This role will be critical in managing our financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring that our financial processes are aligned with the company's strategic goals. You'll be working closely with senior management, using data to inform key decisions and optimise financial performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Provide actionable insights from financial data to senior leadership.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and manage rolling forecasts. Analyse variances and update forecasts based on business performance.

Business Partnering: Collaborate with other departments (sales, product, operations) to offer financial insights and help drive business decisions.

Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of long-term financial strategies. Use financial models and data analytics to support strategic initiatives.

Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management to ensure smooth business operations.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Team Leadership: Manage and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the media, tech, or data-driven solutions sector.

Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data and provide insights that drive business strategy.

Tech-Savvy: Experience working with financial systems, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel for financial modelling.

Experience in Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Planning within a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

Business Partnering Mindset: Proven ability to collaborate with non-finance teams and contribute to business decision-making.

Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to present financial information clearly and persuasively to senior management.

Desirable Skills:

Experience working in a data-driven or tech-based business.

Familiarity with subscription-based or digital media revenue models.

Knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance in a fast-growth business.
