The Finance Manager will be based in the city of London and report into the Finance Director.

This role will be a hybrid role and take ownership of reports.

Finance Manager Key responsibilities across UK & European entities:

  • Month end close across multiple European entities.
  • Reconciling intercompany balances and preparing currency revaluations.
  • Inventory accounting.
  • Prepare internal financial reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing account information. Overseeing the preparation of high-quality, detailed financial reports, including management and statutory accounts, and presenting them to senior management.
  • Formulate customers rebate provisioning, ensuring correct authorisations of credits and deduction by customers.
  • Ensuring all external and statutory financial compliance requirements are met, liaising with auditors and professional advisors, as required.
  • Back up for other roles in the finance department.

Qualifications and requirements:

Essential

  • A professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent, with experience in a financial management role.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial executives.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting/management software and Microsoft Excel with outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to drive change and to increase efficiency in a fast-paced environment and comfortable in working in a small organisation.
