Goodman Masson is partnering with a leading infrastructure investment management firm to recruit a Finance Manager for its London-based team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, market-leading organisation known for its expertise in SPV management across infrastructure and renewables sectors.

You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders, engage with industry-leading projects, and gain invaluable experience within a forward-thinking team. The position offers substantial scope to influence strategic decisions through the preparation and presentation of financial insights, reports, and budgets to shareholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of project companies, ensuring efficient financial operations through the supervision of accounts assistants dedicated to each project;
  • Drive strategic decision-making by managing financial models, budgets, and cash flow forecasts;
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly management accounting, including comprehensive reporting and budget variance analysis;
  • Maintain accruals and prepayments to support accurate financial oversight;
  • Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end audit documentation, liaising closely with auditors and tax advisors;
  • Prepare and deliver finance reports to shareholders at quarterly board meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification, with experience either from an accounting firm or within industry;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the finance team and engage with external stakeholders, including lenders, shareholders, suppliers, and local authorities;
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to scrutinise and challenge financial explanations;
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements, enhancing financial operations continuously.
