A leading services business is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the financial reporting for multiple subsidiary companies within the Group. This role is ideal for a qualified, experienced accountant who desires broad exposure to accounting and financial management within a growing international business.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Own the month-end processes and monthly reporting.
  • Consolidate company cashflows, monthly management accounts, and budgets/forecasts.
  • Engage regularly with business operations to ensure financial alignment and support operational needs.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the Group.
  • Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors, ensuring all compliance issues are met.
  • Ensure the company’s financial systems and processes are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.
  • Process payments through online banking.
  • Lead and mentor a small team fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Liaise with auditors, providing necessary information and analysis.
  • Support the FC and other staff as needed.
  • Handle other ad hoc duties to support the finance department.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA with post-qualification experience.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and sensitivity in a fast-paced environment.
