As a Part or Newly Qualified Finance Manager, you will report to the Finance Director and play a key role in managing the financial operations of the company. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is studying towards, or who has recently gained a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

Description
The key responsibilities of this Finance Manager role will be:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in developing budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance, and providing variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and expense reporting.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies, including VAT returns and statutory filings.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow to ensure optimal financial stability.
- Monitor and manage company expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support business decision-making.
- Maintain and update financial systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Assist in preparing financial models and projections to evaluate business opportunities.
Profile
The successful Finance Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a similar accountancy role
- Proficiency in financial software and Xero accounting (preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
