The Opportunity

Stanford Real Estate Partners are supporting a UK PERE Investor/Asset Manager to recruit a Finance Manager who will work closely with the Finance Director. This is an established and successful business with circa £500mAUM. They require an experienced and driven Finance Professional to add value in a small team. Based in London, this role is offered as hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager's responsibilities will include:

  • Financial due diligence for acquisitions, calculation of IRRs and other KPI metrics.
  • Management accounting for property investment structure, including VAT returns
  • Bookkeeping, PL management, preparation and distribution of sales invoices etc
  • Oversight of financial reports and cash flow management for property holdings
  • Annual statutory reporting and managing audits for the Group and property companies.
  • Financial support to the Finance Director and wider team.
  • Investor communications including production of quarterly investment reports
  • Assisting with compliance requirements in the UK

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with extensive experience within the real estate sector. You will also have solid UK tax experience, and strong IT skills (MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint). This role will work within a small team; therefore you must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to allow you to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
