Finance Manager
Salary: £60,000 to £70,000, DOE

Purpose of the Finance Manager:
- Maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate and timely information for monthly and yearly reporting.
- Monitor and record all accounting entries to reflect assets and liabilities, as well as classifications of revenues and expenses.
- Responsible for tax fillings and ensuring tax payment are done on time.
- Work closely with the business stakeholders, and provide support for performance management, as well as cost analysis and budgetary control.
Accountabilities of the Finance Manager:
- Prepare and post required journals, (including payroll) and ensure all relevant accruals, amortizations and prepayments are posted on a monthly basis.
- Perform reconciliations and schedules for assigned accounts in accordance with monthly close timetable.
- Produce monthly, quarterly and year end financials and statutory reports of accounts.
- Monitor bank activity and coordinate with treasury funding requirements.
- Accounts payable sub ledger and general ledger reconciliation.
- Lead intercompany transactions/balance sheet reconciliation.
- Ensure that all intercompany transactions are recorded and verify receivable and payable are properly recorded.
- Identify general and administrative costs allocation drivers for monthly intercompany management fee recharge.
- Assist in internal audit queries and statutory audit requirements.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Strong balance sheet reconciliation skills.
- General knowledge of payroll principles.
- Knowledge of Oracle, SAP and Excel.
