Finance Manager | SME Ecommerce Retailer | £60,000-£70,000 | London (3 days per week in the office) | 6 month FTC (with potential to go permanent)
JasperRose is partnering with a £20 million turnover ecommerce retail brand, which is looking for a Finance Manager to join their finance team, based in London (3 days per week in the office) on a 6-month contract with the view the role could go permanent. The business has become a well-known brand, doubling its turnover in the past 3 years, with no signs of slowing down.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will take ownership of the month-end, management accounts and cashflow forecasting. You will support with overseeing the accounts payable function as well as driving process improvement across the finance function.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts and associated analysis
- Management of the month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of the board packs including analysis and commentary
- Supporting the Head of Finance with the budgeting and forecasting
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Playing a key part in the preparation of the year-end accounts
- Driving process improvement and implementing efficiencies within the finance
- Supporting with overseeing the accounts payable and receivable function
Skill set required
The successful candidate will be a Qualified with experience preparing management accounts, cashflow and month-end. You will have knowledge or Netsuite and will ideally have worked in a consumer led business. Experience working for a SME business of a similar size is preferred but not essential. To be considered, you must be on less than 2 weeks notice. You will be hands-on with the ability to get involved with a variety of tasks and will also feel comfortable supervising the accounts payable function.
