Meraki Talent is working with a boutique engineering consultancy firm to support them in recruiting a Finance Manager. This role will take on the day-to-day running of the finance function while also having some exposure to the administrative side of the business. The company is based in central London and offers a flexible working with a 9-day working week fortnightly.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing sales forecasts provided by team members.
  • Managing the budget and assisting the director where required.
  • Running the month-end process, including reconciliations and financial analysis.
  • Processing international payments and VAT returns when required.
  • Managing the credit control function, tracking and chasing outstanding invoices.
  • Handling some administrative tasks, such as diary management and booking travel.
  • Liaising with suppliers, confirming and processing orders and payments.
Person Specification:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
  • Ideally have some experience in construction industry.
  • Ability to multitask and support office management and administrative tasks.
  • Self-sufficient, capable of running the finance function after the embedding period.
  • Experienced in all aspects of finance and happy to roll up your sleeves when needed.
