FINANCE MANAGER:  Join an exciting 6-month fixed-term-contract (FTC) opportunity as a Finance Manager with an award-winning British Luxury Fashion brand. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll oversee the month-end process and support day-to-day Finance team activities. This fast-paced role offers the chance to make a significant impact on future projects, helping build a value-driven Finance function in a dynamic, growing environment.  FINANCE MANAGER ROLE:
  • Owning the month-end process and ensuring adherence to deadlines
  • Reviewing all P&L entries for accuracy and completeness
  • Owning balance sheet reconciliations and preparing MI packs, including commentary and variance analysis
  • Coaching and developing the Accounts Payable Assistant and reviewing trade creditor balances
  • Assisting with the annual budget process, periodic re-forecasts, and overseeing business risks and opportunities
  • Acting as the first point of contact for external auditors and preparing quarterly UK VAT returns
  • Reviewing and improving finance systems, supporting Netsuite development, and partnering across the business to improve processes
 FINANCE MANAGER ESSENTIALS:
  • Qualified accountant, either ACA or ACCA/CIMA with demonstrable relevant experience
  • Previous experience in a consumer SME (preferably e-commerce) – preferred but not essential
  • Significant financial systems experience including Netsuite
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate within a team environment
  • Ability to challenge teams on existing processes and provide innovative solutions to enhance efficiency
  • The ability to thrive in a busy retail environment and be flexible – we are a small and focused team, always ready to roll up our sleeves and help each other
