My client is seeking a diligent Finance Manager to oversee their Accounting & Finance department, runing the month end process and managing their accounts day to day.

Client Details

My client is a fast growing start up business based in central London.

Description

  • Control over the entries made into Xero and managing all day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting
  • Statutory and Management Account preparation
  • Production of financial sections of the monthly Board Reports
  • Oversee VAT, tax, and treasury management processes
  • Working directly with auditors on year end accounting and technical matters
  • Business partnering with acquisitions and sales teams
  • Update of internal templates and other tools
  • Payments to suppliers - review and query payment requests and make final payments
  • Reconciling investment project spend
  • Rental and Property Management monitoring and reconciliations, working directly with third party managing agents
  • Multiple ad hoc tasks

Profile

  • Strong Excel ability (Lookups, Pivot table, charts etc)
  • A minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar position
  • Very strong communicator, ability to discuss matters with senior team and company directors
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting standards
  • Proven record of preparing and delivering persuasive, high quality, written and verbal reports and presentations within the organisation up to Board level
  • Residential real estate background and within Affordable Housing is a plus
