Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyse management accounts, board papers, budgets, and forecasts.Act as a key point of contact for internal and external audits.Work closely with operational teams, providing financial advice and insights.Support process improvements, financial controls, and policy development.Analyse and interpret data sets to support decision-making.Supervise and mentor an accountant handling day-to-day finance operations.Participate in compliance reviews.
What We’re Looking For:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualification.Experience in accounting, audit, or financial advisory, potentially from an accountancy practice background.Strong analytical skills - ability to interpret and present financial data.Comfortable in an SME environment, with the ability to work flexibly across teams.Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, sumif, ifs, etc.).A proactive, problem-solving approach with a keen eye for detail.
