Finance Manager - Growing Tech Business

Location: Canary Wharf (Hybrid - 1 day in office per week)Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum (No bonus)

As we continue to scale, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Role Overview:As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the business from top to bottom, with hands-on experience in all aspects of finance. You will be expected to bring order to a sometimes chaotic environment, implementing and improving processes to drive efficiency and accuracy across the business. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, proactive in identifying areas for improvement, and thrive in a fast-growing tech business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including financial reporting, management accounting, and budgeting.
  • Provide strategic insights to senior leadership to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage and improve financial processes and controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with overall business goals.
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects as required by the business.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualifications: ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a Finance Manager in industry, ideally with a background working for well-known brands.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes from top to bottom.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment, with the ability to adapt and drive process improvements.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing financial operations and improving financial systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
