Our client is a rapidly expanding International Consultancy business based in the heart of London with an ever-expanding footprint and a fantastic culture. Due to the continues growth, they require an energetic Finance Manager to join the finance team on a permanent basis. This role is a hybrid working role.

Senior Support Duties:

  • Gain an understanding of the existing budget to ensure the financial reports are complete and accurate.
  • Liaison with subsidiary accountants.
  • Maintain up to date and implement finance control framework.
  • Ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • Deliver all audit requests on a timely manner.

Weekly/Monthly Duties:

  • Cash bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare weekly payment runs
  • Review all the P&L entries to ensure they have been booked in the correct ledgers on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare monthly journals and posting after approval, this includes prepayments, accrued income, WIP, accruals, billing in advance, payroll and depreciation.
  • Prepare the management accounts for all entities and reconcile all Balance Sheet items on a monthly basis.
  • Review the work of the junior members and suggest corrections when they make mistakes.

Payroll:

  • Review payroll of all entities, staff benefits and pension schemes, along with payroll tax submission.

Statutory Compliance/Reporting:

  • Oversee control process for compliance reporting as required (VAT / Tax Returns)

Skills And Experience:

  • CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified, circa five years of post-qualified experience.
  • Able to deliver complete P&L analysis free from reclassifications.
  • Experience using Paprika (ideal).
  • International experience
