Finance Manager

We are recruiting on a behalf of a thriving and profitable real estate group in London a Finance Manager to lead their finance team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your career, working a stylish and modern office environment.
You will be integral in managing the financial operations alongside an in-house team.
This role does require someone to be office based 5 days a week in the beginning with the option of working from home following initial probation period.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare management accounts and financial statements.
- Maintain nominal ledgers using the QUBE system.
- Prepare and file VAT Returns and CIS Returns.
- Liaise with banks and provide financial planning advice.
- Present rent and service charge demands.
- Conduct nominal ledger and bank reconciliations on QUBE or similar systems.
- Chase rental and service charge debts.
- Liaise with banks and finance providers at a management level.
- Manage credit control processes.
- Handle ATED Returns, PAYE, and P11Ds.
- Provide training and supervision to team members in accounting and bookkeeping.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Must be proficient with MRI QUBE or similar property software platforms.
- 5 years’ experience finance management within the UK property market.
- Knowledge of VAT partial exemption and CIS returns.
- Experienced managing or supervising finance & accounting staff
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in presenting rent and service charge demands.
- Skilled in credit control and familiar with ATED Returns, PAYE, and P11Ds.
