Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Liverpool Street, London (Hybrid working 2 days in the office)

Pay: £24 - £27 per hour

Duration: Temporary, 6 months

Hours/days: Monday - Thursday 9am-6pm (Full time during busy periods closer to audits)

Start Date: Thursday 20th March

End Date: September 2025

Responsibilities:

  • Complete month-end reporting with precision and accuracy.
  • Prepare management accounts to provide valuable insights.
  • Review financial statements including receipts and invoices.
  • Prepare essential financial documents such as balance sheets and P&L.
  • Manage corporate financial requirements, including updates to Companies House and tax management.
  • Complete financial and management reporting to support strategic decisions.
  • Assist with financial audit preparations and collaborate closely with the finance team and auditors.

Experience/Skill Set Required:

  • Proven experience at the Finance Manager level, particularly in charities or non-profit organisations.
  • Strong background in completing audits from a wider group perspective, not limited to small entities.
  • Deep understanding of P&L and the ability to compile it effectively.
  • Experience with audits specifically for non-profit organisations or charities.
  • Familiarity with corporate benefits.
  • Proficiency in financial systems like Xero and confident in Excel (formulas, data preparation, management).
  • Experience with Spandesk for processing payments and managing invoices.
