Finance Manager

Central London, Hybrid

£75,000-85,000 p.a.

We partnered with a rapidly expanding real estate firm specialising in co-living properties across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant to take ownership of the financial aspects of their expanding portfolio, and work closely with investors and internal stakeholders across multiple departments including operations, development, and investment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the outsourced accounting functions
  • Overseeing internal and external management accounts, financial reporting, and reconciliations IFRS & UK GAAP
  • Engaging with investors and stakeholders on financial performance and industry trends
  • Supporting budget and forecast preparation for board reporting
  • Collaborating with the investment team on asset-level business plans and financial modelling
  • Leading process improvements and leveraging newly implemented accounting software
  • Assisting with statutory accounts and audit processes
  • Providing development finance oversight, including cashflows and drawdowns

Minimum Responsibilities:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience liaising with various stakeholders
  • Experience in the Real Estate industry is necessary, preferably in student accommodation/ BTR/ property management
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to process improvements
